Employee Health and Wellness Day is an opportunity for JSD employees to prioritize their personal wellness by being:
- Curious: using the work day to try something new or learn a new strategy that could enhance your personal and professional wellness
- Intentional: proactively planning to meet your unique wellness needs
- United: spending time building relationships and strengthening work connections
Health & Wellness Day Challenge
This Wellness Day Challenge sheet contains suggestions for personal wellness activities that you can do on or in the weeks before and after our Wellness Day. As a reminder, all activities are optional! This day is intended to give you autonomy and flexibility to meet your unique wellness needs through a variety of opportunities.
Our community cares about YOU and has donated hundreds of prizes that will be awarded to participants in a drawing after the survey closes on February 16. Prizes include activewear, gift baskets, event tickets, and even a $5,000 vacation from Get Away Today!!
Participants who submit their challenge sheet below will be entered into the drawing. Bonus points will be awarded to those who participate in any of the activities with a colleague.

DIY Wellness Activity | All-Day
We encourage schools and employees to create intentional opportunities to meet their unique needs and accommodate their interests. Creating your own wellness activities and sharing those experiences with colleagues is a great way to spend Wellness Day! Here are some ideas: play board games, go on a group walk, share a meal, organize a watch party for wellness day content, create a gratitude poster for your school, have a movie watch party, have a "book club" discussion of a podcast or article, or spend time getting to know the people you work with.
